| 「Acropolis」は遠くギリシャのアテネにある神々の丘を仰ぎ見るイメージから想起したオブジェクトです。 西洋文明発生の地であるギリシャの海抜156mの石灰岩の丘の上には、オリンポスの神々を祀った神殿が建ち並び、パルテノン、アテネ神殿などが無数の列柱によって荘厳されていました。 このオブジェクトはその風景を抽象化したものです。 マッスなボリュームの上に列柱によって横長のプロポーションを与えられたボリュームが持ち上げられる構成は、列柱の間に陳列されたあなたの大切なものを荘厳する神殿のような場所です。 |
