| 「Mitosisｰミトシスｰ」とは、細胞分裂における様式の一つであり、体細胞分裂を指す言葉です。 そうした由来を持つこのオブジェクトMitosis は一つの完全な立方体であり、互いに補完し合う二つの立方体でもあります。 機能や装飾を完全に排除した純粋なプラトン立体に、曖昧性という概念を付与したオブジェクトであるMitosis は軽く、やわらかく、丈夫であり、 力を加えると弛み、引っ張ると伸び、引き抜くと一つから二つへ倍増します。弾性のあるこの立体は環境によって容易にその存在・姿形を変えてゆく、果てしなく曖昧な立体です。 |
