Taishi Watanabe was born in 1980.
He is an associate professor at the architecture department of Waseda University. Specializes in architectural design and urban history.
He is the president of "Link architects", Inc.,
the committee member of Setagaya Tourism Exchange Association,
the committee member of Minato-ku scenery council, and the 22nd delegate of Architectural Institute of Japan,
the business committee member of Tokyo society of architects & building engineers.
In 2005, he graduated from the department of architecture of the Graduate School of Creative Science in Waseda University (Osamu Ishiyama Lab),
and served as a personal assistant to Osamu Ishiyama Lab.
In 2012, he graduated from the doctoral program of Graduate School of Engineering in Tokyo University (Takeshi Ito Lab).
In 2015, he became an associate professor at the Department of Architecture, School of Creative Science and Engineering, Waseda University.
In 2016, he established the first-class architect office of Taishi Watanebe Laboratory, Inc.
From 2019 to 2020, he will be a visiting researcher at Aalto University, Finland.
In 2022, he changed the name of the firm to Link architects, Inc.
