Setagaya gardening fair 2024 -せたがやガーデニングフェア2024-

　On June 3 and 4, 2023, we exhibited and sold Xover Products, sold flowers, and held a workshop at the Setagaya Gardening Fair held in Setagaya Park.

2024年6月1日、2日、世田谷公園で開催された、せたがやガーデニングフェアにて、Xover Productsの展示・販売とワークショップを行いました。

This year, as in the previous year, we produced and sold “Earth Pod,” which can be used as a planter, “Hatsuhana,” which can be used as a vase for a single flower, and “Hafutatsu,” which was sold at the Xover Pop Up Shop last year. The “Hafutatsu” was a three-dimensional tile with overlapping colors, and visitors enjoyed the difference in the colors.

今年も、昨年同様プランターとして利用できる「Earth Pod」を製作・販売したほか、一輪挿しとして利用できる「Hatsuhana」、昨年度Xover Pop Up Shopにて初公開した「葉二」を販売しました。
「葉二」は色が重なる立体タイルとして、お客様に色の違いを楽しんで頂きました。

This year, we held a workshop to experience making “light flower” pieces that glow and spin.
We were able to hold this workshop with many people of all ages, including children, while having fun.

今年度は光って回る、「ライトフラワー」の駒づくり体験のワークショップを開催しました。

お子様をはじめ、年齢を問わず多くの方と楽しみながら開催することができました。

At At this year's Setagaya Gardening Festival, we changed our workshops and advertising style from last year, and came up with a new way of designing the event to better promote Xover Products to the people of Setagaya. We were able to talk to some of the customers who came last year about how they use Xover Products in their daily lives. In addition, our new workshop, making “Light flower” pieces, was very well received, as visitors were able to enjoy the light under the clear sky.
We will cWe will continue to practice our attempts to spread the activities of Xover Products, focusing on the development of new products and the promotion of each product.

今年の世田谷ガーデニングフェスでは、去年からワークショップや宣伝方法を一新し、世田谷の皆様によりXover Productsの活動を広めることができるようなデザインのあり方を考えました。去年も来られたお客様の姿もあり、Xover Productsの日常的な使い方についてお話することができました。また、新しいワークショップである「ライトフラワー」の駒づくりは、晴れた空の下で光を楽しむこともでき、大変好評でした。
これからも、新プロダクトの開発や、各商品の宣伝を中心に、Xover Productsの活動を広める試みを実践していきます。

Setagaya gardening fair 2023 -せたがやガーデニングフェア2023-

　On June 3 and 4, 2023, we exhibited and sold Xover Products, sold flowers, and held a workshop at the Setagaya Gardening Fair held in Setagaya Park.

2023年6月3日、4日、世田谷公園で開催された、せたがやガーデニングフェアにて、Xover Productsの展示・販売とワークショップを行いました。

This year, as in the previous year, we produced and sold "Earth Pod," which can be used as a planter, and also renewed "Hatsuhana," which can be used as a vase for a single flower.
The renewed "Hatsuhan" is made of cement, the same material used in construction, and many visitors actually held it in their hands and felt its cool and comfortable texture.

今年も、昨年同様プランターとして利用できる「Earth Pod」を製作・販売したほか、一輪挿しとして利用できる「Hatsuhana」をリニューアルして販売しました。
リニューアルした「Hatsuhana」は、建築で使われるコンクリートと同じセメントでできており、多くの方に実際に手に取っていただいて、ひんやりしていて手に馴染む質感を実感していただけました。

The newly created Xover Products catalog was well received by all who came to the event, and many visitors took it home with them.
The "waterwheel" workshop was so popular last year that we decided to hold it again this year, and many people of all ages enjoyed making waterwheels.

今回新しく作成したXover Productsのカタログは、来ていただいた皆様に好評で多くのお客様が持って帰っていかれました。
昨年の大変な人気を受け、今年も開催する運びとなった「水車」のワークショップは、今年も年齢を問わず多くの方と楽しみながら作成できました。

At this year's Setagaya, we considered ways of design that would enrich the lives of Setagaya residents through multiple new attempts, while continuing with what we should have inherited from last year. In fact, the fact that a wider range of Xover Products were available compared to last year's event was a clear indication that our attempts were well received by those who came to the event.
We will continue to implement various design challenges to enrich people's lives in the future.

今年の世田谷では、去年から継承すべきところは継承しつつ、複数の新たな試みで世田谷の皆様の生活をより豊かにできるようなデザインのあり方を考えました。実際、昨年に比べ、幅広いXover Productを手に取っていただけたのは、私たちの試みが当日来ていただいた皆様にもしっかりと伝わったのだと思います。
これからも、私たちは皆様の生活を豊かにするために、さまざまなデザインによる試みを実践していきます。

Setagaya gardening fair 2022 -せたがやガーデニングフェア2022-

　On June 4 and 5, 2022, we exhibited and sold Xover Products, sold flowers, and held a workshop at the Setagaya Gardening Fair held in Setagaya Park.

2022年6月4日、5日、世田谷公園で開催された、せたがやガーデニングフェアにて、Xover Productsの展示・販売とお花の販売、ワークショップを行いました。

This time, we produced "Earth Pod (Xover Products no.010)," which can be used as a planter.
The "Earth Pod" can be placed on the boundary between the garden and the road or on top of a block wall, and is a product that allows people to share greenery not only for their own use, but also with others on the road. Many people were interested in the concept of the "Earth Pod," which aims to transcend boundaries, share greenery, and enrich the town of Setagaya and the hearts of its people.
Many people shared flowers with us from Todoroki Hanazono and purchased flowers to plant in the "Earth Pod" as well.

今回、プランターとして利用できる「Earth Pod（Xover Products no.010）」を製作しました。
「Earth Pod」は、庭と道路の境界やブロック塀の上に置くことができ、自分のためだけの緑ではなく、道行く人にも緑をおすそわけすることのできるプロダクトです。境界を越え、緑をシェアし、せたがやのまちを、人々の心をより豊かにしたいという「Earth Pod」のコンセプトは、多くの方に興味を持っていただきました。
とどろき花苑の方にお花を分けていただき、「Earth Pod」に植えるお花も一緒に購入してくださる方も多くいました。

The "Earth Pod (Xover Products no.010)" is made of two different materials and two different technologies: resin laminated by a 3D printer and MDF hollowed out by a laser cutter.
Mitosis (Xover Products no.006), made from the same resin material as the Earth Pod, was also available for many visitors to pick up.

「Earth Pod （Xover Products no.010）」は、3Dプリンターで積層した樹脂と、レーザーカッターによってくり抜かれたMDFという、2種類の技術、2種類の素材を用いて作られています。
「Earth Pod」と同じ樹脂素材で作られた「Mitosis（Xover Products no.006）」も、多くの方に手に取っていただきました。

A signboard was also made from the MDF scraps of the "Earth Pod. MDF was also used in a workshop to make a Mizuguruma (waterwheel).

また、「Earth Pod」のMDFの端材で、看板を製作しました。さらに、水車（みずぐるま）を作るワークショップにも、MDFを利用しました。

The workshop was attended not only by children but also by adults living in Setagaya. The waterwheels are small Xover Products that can be used not only as garden picks, but also as coasters, children's toys, interior decorations, and small objects.

ワークショップでは、子どもたちだけでなく、せたがやに住む大人の方々にも参加していただきました。水車は、土に刺し、お花に水をあげると水がかかり、くるくる回るガーデンピックとしてだけではなく、コースターや子供のおもちゃ、インテリア、小物置きにも利用できる小さなXover Productsです。

　The "Earth Pod (Xover Products no.010)" or Mizuguruma may seem very small on its own. However, when these small products are scattered throughout Setagaya, they transcend the boundaries between people and people, between property and road, and between oneself and one's neighbor, and change the landscape and one's life.
We hope that our small designs will color and enrich the entire town.

「Earth Pod （Xover Products no.010）」や水車は、1つだけではとても小さなものかもしれません。しかし、その小さなプロダクトが、せたがやのまちに点在することは、人と人、敷地と道路、自分とお隣さんといった境界を越え、風景や生活が変わっていくことにつながるのではないでしょうか。
私たちは、小さなデザインが、まち全体を彩り、豊かにすることを願っています。
